Personal Assistant to Principal Investments

Principal Investments is the largest investment department in Novo Holdings and focuses on large, lifescience companies. At the end of 2021, the Principal Investments portfolio comprised 16 companies, with a total value of EUR 9.5 billion.

Personal Assistant Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Proactively handle two Senior Partners complex calendars of appointments. Proactively review and prepare short term and long term. Ensure that the Senior Partners are well prepared with all materials and pre-read timely ahead of meetings. Analytically and proactively manage time and handle changes.

  • Coordinate travels and conference attendance from A to Z. Ensure that the Senior Partners are well prepared with all materials ahead of travel, meetings, and events. Be available as an emergency lifeline to support and handle travel changes.

  • Coordinate and plan activities in Novo Holdings and in Principal Investments (e.g., inspiring team off-sites and social events in Denmark and abroad).

  • Contribute to team development and team spirit. Help be that special “cultural and social glue” and the initiator that helps hold a team together.

  • Participate in the internal cross departmental PA network in Novo Holdings and contribute to knowledge sharing and smooth collaboration.

  • Support in the organisational annual cycle processes (Novo Insights process, Engagement Survey etc.).

  • Run ad hoc tasks and projects. Ensure consistently high-quality work in all deliverables and work products.

  • Ad hoc administrative tasks including expense management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of proven experience as a PA/EA supporting executive level individuals in large professional organisations.

  • Ideally, experience from a professional services company (consulting, banking, or law firm).

  • Stellar references and a proven track record of high performance.

  • Strong presence and a confident and accommodating personality.

  • Fluency in English, verbally and written.

  • Highly proficient in applying IT tools in daily tasks and operations.

  • A recent track record of effectively using Microsoft Office 365.
