Purpose of the role
As the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you’ll serve as the CEO’s trusted right-hand, ensuring operational efficiency and strategic execution. Your role is pivotal in meeting priorities, projects, decisions, and deadlines while proactively enhancing CEO productivity and managing everyday operational details.
This position emphasises strategic planning, project management, and high-level collaboration. You’ll act as a critical facilitator, aligning the CEO’s strategic vision with DHI’s operational reality and effectively communicating and executing strategic initiatives across the organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role requires a global perspective, with an estimated 20 days of travel per year. The position is based in Hørsholm, DK.
Your responsibilities include planning and preparing customer and stakeholder meetings, managing external affairs presentations, and communicating CEO objectives. Additionally, you’ll attend ELT (Executive Leadership Team) and board meetings, handling materials and minute-taking. You’ll play a key role in driving strategy execution, supported by a dedicated personal assistant who will help you achieve the CEO’s objectives.
Strategic planning and execution:
Collaborate with the CEO and the ELT to develop the strategy execution plan.
Drive and monitor the execution of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with DHI’s goals and objectives.
Communication and reporting:
Prepare and present high-level presentations for the Board of Directors and the ELT.
Plan and prepare client meetings and presentations to foster positive client relationships.
Facilitate effective communication strategies that ensure alignment and clarity across all levels of the organisation.
Lead or participate in key strategic projects, working closely with relevant departments and team members.
Continuously assess market dynamics and trends to inform strategic decision-making and plan adjustments.
Strategic analysis and insight:
Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Provide actionable insights to the CEO and the ELT, helping to shape DHI’s strategic direction.
Success criteria / KPIs
Strategy execution efficiency: Evaluated by the successful implementation of the strategic plan and the impact of strategic initiatives.
Communication effectiveness: Assessed through the quality and impact of presentations and reports and the effectiveness of strategic communication within the organisation.
Project management success: Measured by the timely completion of strategic projects, adherence to objectives, and overall project impact.
Strategic insight and analysis: Measured by the accuracy and relevance of market and competitive analysis and the contribution to strategic adjustments.
Mindset & competencies
This position is highly visible within the organisation and requires high levels of emotional intelligence, organisational skill and the ability to partner with various diverse stakeholders in an effective, efficient and diplomatic manner to further the organisation’s goals.

You don’t need experience working as an EA, but you have the drive and personality to succeed and thrive.

Structured and analytical, used to handling many tasks and deadlines simultaneously and getting things done.
Master’s degree in engineering, business administration, or similar.
Several years of experience working with strategic projects, ideally from a consulting business.
Strong business acumen.
Experienced project manager.
Exceptional PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create appealing and informative presentations, are critical for success in this role.
Highly skilled in preparing information and decision-support material for senior management.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
