We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Executive Assistant on behalf of our client Altor Equity Partners, a leading top-tier private equity fund.

The ideal candidate for this role is an entry/mid-level Executive Assistant who wants to become an integrated member of the Copenhagen office’s small, dynamic, and ambitious team.

As an Executive Assistant at Altor, you will be the heartbeat of the team, responsible for providing crucial administrative and organisational support to a team of caring investment professionals working on Altor’s various portfolios and exciting new investment deal opportunities. Additionally, you will be part of Altor’s talented EA team of ∼20 collaborating across offices.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Handle your investment stakeholders’ calendars of appointments. Proactively review and prepare short-term and long-term plans. Ensure that they are well-equipped with all materials, pre-read, and information timely ahead of meetings. Analytically and proactively manage time and handle changes.

  • Coordinate travels from A to Z. Ensure that trips are well-prepared with all materials ahead of travel, meetings, and events.

  • Provide support during active “live deals”. When your investment colleagues are working on closing a deal, conducting due diligence, and negotiating terms, you will serve as the sole deal-team assistant ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. This includes acting as the project manager on the deal, participating in kick-off investment meetings, proofreading, ensuring all deadlines are met, etc.

  • Work cross-functionally and cross-office to help solve problems fast. Establish and maintain valuable relationships. Work effectively and closely with your peers to ensure appropriate coverage.

  • Liaise with many different stakeholders, investors, advisors, consultants and portfolios across the organisation and with Altor’s affiliates around the world.

  • Plan, organise, and execute both internal and external events, such as networking events with relevant stakeholders, investors, sector team events and internal office events, etc. You will work and collaborate cross-functionally on content, social activities, and on presentations.

  • Support with various recruitment tasks in the recruitment process of Student Analysts and Associates.

  • Serve as the local representative in Altor’s cross-office executive assistant committee. Gather input from Copenhagen Office and present at cross-office assistant meetings, arrange cross-office off-site events, etc.

  • Maintain and protect confidential corporate information.

  • Handle various ad hoc administration tasks.

Qualifications

  • Proven 2+ years of experience as a personal/executive assistant supporting executive-level individuals.

  • Master Microsoft Office365 at a high level.

  • A proactive and efficient approach to assignments with exceptional organising and multitasking skills.

  • Stellar references, a strong presence, and a confident and accommodating personality.

  • Ideally, a bachelor’s degree.

  • Fluency in English, verbally and written, with excellent writing, editing, and grammatical skills.
