The Job

As Executive Assistant in Rasmussen Global, you will provide invaluable support to the Chairman. You will play a key role ensuring that things run smoothly in day-to-day work, and you will join a dynamic and high-profile team where close collaboration is key and where value-driven work is executed daily.

The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced Executive Assistant who will become an integral part of a unique Public Affairs agency dealing with global affairs at the highest level. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into policy advisory, and strategic decision-making, while working alongside top leadership and a distinguished network of international stakeholders.

You will act as a key liaison between the Chairman and a broad network of policymakers, business leaders, and advisors, facilitating smooth execution of tasks while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and discretion.

The main location will be in our offices in central Copenhagen.

 

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manage administration and operations for the Chairman, i.e., providing holistic and integrated day-to-day support. Proactively solve problems and handle tasks and distractions that may keep the Chairman from focusing on the highest priorities.

  • Serving as the main point of contact of the Chairman, facilitating clear and timely communication.

  • Handle a complex and dynamic calendar of appointments. Proactively review and prepare for the short-term and long-term. Coordinate the Chairman’s engagements with clients and other external stakeholders, collaborate with internal team members, and the back office team in Brussels.

  • Ensure the Chairman is proactively well-prepared with accurate, comprehensive briefings, overview materials, and presentations, delivered in a timely manner.

  • Proactively help manage the Chairman’s internal and external relationships. Create and maintain a VIP list of people and remind when to reach out, call, or send a thank you note.

  • Develop insight into how to prioritize among the many demands through understanding the content and implications of the requests, as time is essential.

  • Coordinate travel from A to Z. Ensure that the Chairman has all materials ahead of travel, meetings, and events. Be available as an emergency lifeline to support and handle travel

  • Assist the COO with development of efficient back office

  • Manage and support the Copenhagen Office Manager overseeing the overall operations of the Copenhagen office. Act as a culture ambassador fostering a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven 10+ years of experience as a personal/executive assistant supporting executive-level individuals in multinational organisations.

  • Prior experience in a similar role within ministry or a politically-driven organization would be a significant advantage.

  • Stellar references and a proven track record of high performance.

  • As a minimum, a bachelor’s degree.

  • Fluent in English and Danish, verbally and written. Excellent writing, editing, organisational, and research skills.

  • Highly proficient in using IT tools in daily tasks and operations.
