The Job
As the Event Specialist, you will take the lead in organizing and executing exceptional events that reflect NIO’s commitment to professionalism and exclusivity. From high-profile corporate events to smaller, team-specific gatherings such as classroom-based learning sessions and webinars, you will play a pivotal role in creating experiences that inspire, engage, and drive meaningful connections.
Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering high-calibre events that resonate with NIO’s clientele, with a clear focus on exclusivity and value generation. You will bring innovative ideas to re-engage existing investors while enticing new ones, leveraging your strong network of high-end brand contacts to enhance event offerings. Smaller, team-focused events will also fall under your remit, supporting the sales team with impactful learning opportunities and webinars.

Tasks and Responsibilities
End-to-end internal and external event management from large-scale and high-profile corporate events (4-6 annually) to smaller team-specific gatherings, such as classroom-based learning sessions or webinars (12x a year).
Manage all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, budget, attendee registration, setup, and post-event evaluations.
Manage event marketing and communications, including invitations, sign-up and registration, agendas, and follow-up.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and business development teams to develop and implement an annual events calendar including event content.
Develop and implement a structured event process to ensure efficiency and consistency when collaborating with the Investor Relations team on events, facilitating smooth planning and execution that aligns with corporate objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Assess the business value of an event and give guidance where appropriate—devising creative and innovative event concepts that meet objectives and budget.
Post-event reporting: Evaluate event success and gather feedback, analysing data to measure ROI and areas for improvement.
Manage and develop strong relationships with external suppliers, vendors, and luxury brands to create unique partnership opportunities and lead relevant meetings and communications.
Demonstrate expertise in event production, supplier negotiation, event contracting, and logistics. Track and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
Market research: Stay informed of industry trends and competitor events to keep NIO’s event strategies innovative and relevant.

Exceptional project management and organizational skills, ensuring seamless planning and execution of multiple events simultaneously.
Fluent in verbal and written communication in Danish and English, with an ability to adapt tone and style for diverse audiences.
Strong presence, personal presentation, and emotional intelligence, with the ability to remain composed and accommodating under pressure.
Proficient in IT tools, including Outlook and other event management platforms, to support efficient communication and coordination.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, vital for managing vendors, venues, and stakeholders effectively.
